Donations

Worawa Aboriginal College has a unique place in education as Australia’s only Aboriginal boarding school that caters for girls in the secondary school years of 7 to 12. Support from donors ensures that students can continue their education in a boarding environment grounded in culture and community.

Why support is needed:

For many Aboriginal young people, continuing secondary school means leaving home.

Access to consistent education is not always available, and not all environments meet their needs.

Worawa provides a place where students can live and learn in a setting that recognises culture and supports wellbeing.

The difference your support makes:

Support contributes directly to:

  • Boarding, so students can access school
  • Learning support and classroom resources
  • Cultural programs that strengthen identity
  • Wellbeing support in daily life

Each contribution supports the experience of students at the College.
