Worawa is an Aboriginal community initiative – an Aboriginal owned school on Aboriginal land operated by Aboriginal people for Aboriginal students.

Friends of Worawa

In its 40th year of operation, Worawa has a long history of strong involvement of Indigenous people in the management and running of the College. The Worawa Board and Management are committed to ‘Walking Together’ – bringing together Aboriginal knowledge, values and pedagogy and academic leadership enriching the College program through shared wisdom and knowledge.

Worawa needs your help to provide resources and facilities for our students as well as for the much needed renovation of buildings and facilities. As the only school of its kind in Victoria, we provide a much needed and valuable opportunity for our students to receive secondary education based on both Aboriginal culture and academic excellence. Please help to keep our school growing and flourishing.

We invite you to become a Friend of Worawa and contribute to the ongoing delivery of the College’s education program and student supplementary needs through donations, pro bono support and /or participation in fundraising activities and events.
