Student Placement

Worawa recognizes the importance of strengthen the individual’s experience of the workplace, developing practice skills and application of knowledge within the workplace, provide exposure to real workplace situations and circumstances which cannot be replicated in a learning environment. This is why we are able to provide supervised placement hours for local and out of area learners working towards Cert IV Children Youth and Family Intervention, Diploma Community Services, Bachelor of Social Science (Youth Work) or Indigenous specific studies. Accommodation may be made available to those learners travelling to complete their placement.

To be eligible to apply for placement at Worawa, learners must have a current Working with Children’s Check and proof of COVID vaccinations.
