Giving Voice to Students

At Worawa Aboriginal College, we're committed to ensuring that our students' voices are not just heard but celebrated. We instil this by:

Aboriginal-Led Yarning Circles: We create spaces led by Aboriginal leaders where students can openly share their thoughts, experiences, and dreams. These circles, rooted in cultural traditions, ensure that every student's perspective is respected.

Student Surveys for Improvement: We believe in student input. Regular student surveys help us understand our students' needs, shaping our programs to better serve our diverse student body.

Developing Leadership Skills: We offer students the opportunity to take on leadership roles within the school, such as organising events and leading discussions, to enhance their confidence and build effective communication skills
